So I got eaten alive by tiny black bugs dropping on me from a tree I was standing under at Bill& Deb\u2019s for 5 minutes last Sunday and had 12 (!) bites spread over my arms and legs (I was actually kept awake by them one night because they itched horribly \u2013 unbelievable for such small creatures). Thank god for Fenistil (German itch cream)!
\nLetzten Sonntag stand ich ganze 5 Minuten untern einem Baum bei meinen Schwiegereltern und prompt sind minikleine schwarze Viecher \u00fcber mich hergefallen. Ich habe 12 (!) Stiche davon getragen, die teilweilse so stark gejuckt haben, dass ich nicht schlafen konnte. Gottseidank gibt es Fenistil!

\nI think it\u2019s safe to say that I\u2019m used to working again and we\u2019ve got our routine down pretty well at home with it to. I still don\u2019t have a job description so currently I\u2019m mostly doing research and getting acquainted with the companies. German candy makes my day sometimes, a big thanks to all my faithful suppliers :-D!
\nIch w\u00fcrde behaupten, dass ich wieder daran gew\u00f6hnt bin zu arbeiten und wir auch zuhause alle an den neuen Alltag gew\u00f6hnt sind. Eine Stellenbeschreibung habe ich weiterhin keine, also verbringe ich meine Zeit haupts\u00e4chlich mit Recherchen und dem Einlesen in alle Firmenzweige. Deutsche S\u00fc\u00dfigkeiten retten mich an manchen Arbeitstagen, also hier mal ein dickes Dankesch\u00f6n an meine zuverl\u00e4ssigen Lieferanten :-D.

\n<\/strong>We\u2019re off to Kansas City this afternoon and I will be at my first (and last ^^?) NASCAR race tomorrow. Bill swears I will love it and convert to being a race fan. I\u2019m trying to keep an open mind so we\u2019ll see :-). I will also get to sleep in a trailer for the first time in my life so I\u2019m not expecting to get a lot of rest tonight. More next week\u2026
\nHeute nachmittag gehts nach Kansas City und morgen erlebe ich mein erstes (und letztes ^^?) NASCAR (Auto-)Rennen. Bill ist \u00fcberzeugt davon, dass ich es total toll finden und mich sofort in einen Fan verwandeln werde. Ich versuche m\u00f6glichst offen an die Sachen heranzugehen, also mal schauen :-). Ich werde au\u00dferdem zum ersten Mal in einem Wohnwagen schlafen und erwarte wenig Nachtruhe. Mehr dar\u00fcber gibts in der n\u00e4chsten Woche.<\/strong><\/p>\n
