So this is my last post before our flight to Germany on Monday. I really don’t have much to report other than – of course – our garden is now producing vegetables – just in time since we’re leaving… We’ve eaten three very good cucumbers and one cherry tomato. Hopefully we’ll still be able to enjoy some stuff after we get back.
\nDies ist also mein letzter Blogbeitrag bevor wir am Montag nach Deutschland fliegen. Viel zu berichten gibt es nicht, au\u00dfer dass – nat\u00fcrlich – unser Garten jetzt losgelegt hat und alles w\u00e4chst und reif ist. Rechzeitig zu unserer Abreise… Wir haben schon drei sehr leckere Gurken und eine Cherry Tomate gegessen. Hoffentlich k\u00f6nnen wir noch ein paar Sachen genie\u00dfen, wenn wir wieder da sind.<\/strong>

\nSince this week has been overall the hottest all summer, we spend almost every day at the lake. And apparently it was even hot enough to make the Amish come out. It was quite the sight (their horse carriages in the Walmart parking lot make me chuckle every time still) – especially because none of them were rolling up pants or lifting up skirts and got into the water to some degree anyway ^^.
\nDa die vergangene Woche die insgesamt hei\u00dfeste bisher war, waren wir fast jeden Tag am See. Und es war anscheinend sogar warm genug, um die lokalen Amish dorthin zu locken. Durchaus ein Anblick (es ist ja nicht so als ob ich nicht ohnehin immer noch jedes Mal schmunzele, wenn ich ihre Pferdekutschen auf dem Walmart Parkplatz sehe) – besonders deshalb, weil keiner von ihnen die Hosen hochrollte oder R\u00f6cke hochhielt und sie trotzdem fast alle unterschiedlich weit ins Wasser gingen ^^.<\/strong>\"Amish<\/a>
