<\/a>\nOwen had his pre-K graduation on Thursday – luckily he had all the necessary credits ;-). After this summer he’ll be riding the bus and going to the „big“ school with his sister. I think he couldn’t care less at this point.
\nOwen hatte am Donnerstag seine Abschlussfeier in der Vorschule – gl\u00fccklicherweise hat er auch alles bestanden und seinen Abschluss erhalten ;-). Nach den Sommerferien hei\u00dft es also Schulbus und „richtige“ Schule („kindergarden“ ist hier das erste Jahr an der Grundschule). Ihm k\u00f6nnte es zurzeit nicht egaler sein, glaube ich.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Und bevor jetzt einer fragt: Nein, ich habe noch nicht zugenommen hier ^^.<\/a><\/a>
\nRiesen are one of my favorite things to eat ever and look at the size of that bag! Needless to say I danced around Walmart for a while after I found it. Also: I had a pretzel burger the other day – it wasn’t as good as I had hoped though. Meh.
\nRiesen finde ich bekanntlich gro\u00dfartig, also k\u00f6nnt ihr euch vielleicht vorstellen was f\u00fcr ein T\u00e4nzchen ich inmitten des Walmart Supercenters hingelegt habe, als ich die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe dieser Packung bestaunte. Au\u00dferdem hatte ich neulich einen Brezel-Burger – dieser war allerdings nicht so gut wie ich gehofft hatte. Meh.<\/strong>

\nBefore you ask: no, I haven’t gained any weight since I moved here ^^.
\nOh yeah: progrss in our garden. The garden has been basically flooded for the last 3 days thanks to severe thunderstorms and rain. But at least we’ve gotten the dandelions mostly under control and our plants are almost all in the soil. On the bottom is our butternut squash and cucumber, all kinds of peppers in the middle (bell, cayenne and jalapeno) and 5 tomato plants on the top. We’ll see if and how well they made it through last night…<\/p>\n
\nAch genau: Fortschritte im Garten. Heute morgen und eigentlich in den letzten 3 Tagen gabs vor allem \u00dcberschwemmung dank schwerer und regenreicher Gewitter, aber wir haben den L\u00f6wenzahn endlich einigerma\u00dfen im Griff und die Pfl\u00e4nzchen fast alle in der Erde. Ganz unten seht ihr Butternut Squash und Gurke, in der Mitte sind Paprika, Cayenne und Jalapenos und ganz oben 5 Tomatenpflanzen. Mal sehen ob sie die letzte Nacht gut \u00fcberstanden haben…
