As advertised, Alyssa got to celebrate her birthday with this side of the family when the kids were with us this past week; she loved all her gifts and had a great time. Since these pics are somewhat blurry, let me shed light on what she’s holding up in pic number 2 next to Bill’s hand – some fake nails :).

\n<\/a>With Phylis & Larry in town, there is always a lot of booze in town as well since Larry brings cases of it. This time I got to try three different vintage ports. Very good, more please!
\nWenn Phylis un Larry zu Besuch kommen, gibt es immer haufenweise Alkohol den Larry in Kisten und Kartons anschleppt. Dieses Mal durfte ich drei verschiedene Portweine testen. Super gut, mehr bitte!<\/strong>

\nIn other new I went to my first ever softball game yesterday – my friend Jennifer coached a little travel team this year so I got lucky and watched them win. I also got a free tan on top (see the blue skies and sunshine).
\nAnsonsten war ich gestern noch bei meinem allerersten Softball-Spiel, da meine Freundin Jennifer in diesem Jahr ein kleines Reiseteam trainiert hat. Ich hatte Gl\u00fcck und habe einen Sieg bezeugt (und etwas Farbe bekommen, siehe strahlend blauen Himmel und Sonne).<\/strong>
