This week marked the official beginning of the holiday season for me. Not only had Adam and I started some serious Christmas shopping, no – I had the pleasure of two (!) Thanksgiving ‚dinners‘ in two days :). First we had Thanksgiving dinner for lunch at work on Wednesday, then we had Thanksgiving dinner at Bill& Deb’s on Thursday with Adam’s grandma – since everybody else is going to Alabama for actual Thanksgiving next week, we wanted to make sure we celebrated with her as well. Yummy!
\nDiese Woche hat die Feiertag-Saison f\u00fcr mich offiziell begonnen. Adam und ich haben mit aggressiven Weihnachtseink\u00e4ufen begonnen und dann gab es bei mir an zwei Tagen hintereinander Thanksgiving Festmahle :). Erst als Mittagessen im B\u00fcro am Mittwoch und dann am Donnerstag Abend bei meinen Schwiegereltern, da alle au\u00dfer Adams Oma ja kommende Woche zum tats\u00e4chlichen Thanksgiving in Alabama sein werden und wir mit ihr trotzdem feiern wollten. Lecker!<\/strong>

\nSince December 1st is coming up quickly, I also had to get the kids‘ advent calendar put together. It is hard to believe it was already time for that, but I won’t be home alone for the next two weeks, so yesterday was the day. I even got Adam’s started as well, though his will still need some items to be complete :).
\nDa der 1. Dezember sich ebenfalls in gro\u00dfen Schritten n\u00e4hert, habe ich gestern den Adventskalender f\u00fcr die Kids zusammengestellt. Schwer zu glauben, dass es schon wieder Zeit daf\u00fcr war, aber heute ist mein letzter Tag an dem ich alleine zuhause bin (f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chsten 2 Wochen). Ich habe auch mit Adams schon losgelegt, da fehlen aber noch ein paar Teile zur Vollendung :).<\/strong><\/p>\n
