Yesterday was Macon’s homecoming, so they had their annual parade. Debbie took the kids (a well-loved tradition by all) and Grandma Hill and they all had a blast. They also got big bags of candy that they ‚got‘ to take to their Mom’s house. As you can see (they are wearing jackets), it has finally cooled off around here. I hope it lasts and am enjoying long pants, sleeves and closed shoes :).
\nGestern war in Macon Homecoming und somit auch die j\u00e4hrliche Parade, zu der Debbie die Kinder immer gerne mitnimmt (macht sie jedes Jahr und finden alle toll) – Adams Oma war auch dabei und alle hatten gro\u00dfen Spa\u00df (und T\u00fcten voller S\u00fc\u00dfigkeiten, die Owen& Alyssa mit zu Mama nehmen ‚durften‘). Wie ihr seht tragen die beiden Jacken – es hat endlich abgek\u00fchlt und ich hoffe das h\u00e4lt an. Ich genie\u00dfe lange Hosen, \u00c4rmel und geschlossene Schuhe :).<\/strong>

\nI’ve also finally had time for some extensive cooking again and tried making spinach cakes last weekend, which turned out awesome. Today I felt like a German classic and made a ’sunken‘ apple pie. It’s very ’sunken‘, lol, but can’t wait to try it!
\nIch hatte auch endlich mal wieder Zeit f\u00fcr ausgiebigeres Kochen und habe mich am vergangenen Wochenende an Spinat Pl\u00e4tzchen versucht – die waren super. Heute war es mal Zeit f\u00fcr einen deutschen Klassiker – versunkenen Apfelkuchen. Da ich keine Springform besitze, habe ich improvisiert und er ist ziemlich versunken – aber bestimmt trotzdem lecker, lol.<\/strong><\/p>\n
